Lisa Abeyta, Co-Founder
Lisa Abeyta is passionate about civic innovation. She is the founder and CEO of APPCityLife, which helps cities develop mobile apps for their communities. She also co-founded Hautepreneurs, a peer network and business accelerator for women entrepreneurs, and HauteHopes, a nonprofit assisting women entrepreneurs from disadvantaged backgrounds. She serves on Rep. Michelle Lujan Grisham's Congressional Business Advisory Council, chairs an advisory group for the mayor of Albuquerque, and contributes to several national publications.
Lisa Abeyta is the Founder and CEO of APPCityLife, Inc., a civic tech corporation providing an end-to-end mobile platform solution for cities, nonprofits, and PaaS and SaaS companies. She is also cofounder of Hautepreneurs, a peer network and online business accelerator for women entrepreneurs.
As a CEO, Lisa has raised over $1 Million in Venture Capital, negotiated successful acquisitions and partnerships and grown a tech company from solopreneur to a thriving company with offices in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and New York City. At the invitation of New Mexico Congresswoman Michelle Grisham, Lisa serves as a member of the Small Business Advisory Council and serves in leadership on the CityAlive Initiative.
Lisa is a columnist for Inc, and previously a 2015 Top 10 LinkedIn Contributor for Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital and an IconNext contributor to Huffington Post. She is a 2014 Women In Technology Recognition award winner and was named a 2014 Woman of Influence. Since 2013, she has served as a judge for the Stevie Business Awards for Women and is a national speaker on the topics of GovTech, women in tech and entrepreneurship.
